Citizen’s Help Desk offers free computer-related help, guidance and training from 8 am to 4 pm for all people living in Turku and is a part of theFIRMA in Turku University of Applied Sciences.

Our services are focused on software repairs and personal guidance. Hardware issues will be diagnosed and we will attempt to fix them.
Device Maintenance
The purpose of maintenance is to maintain and repair technical devices to ensure their functionality and durability. Maintenance can include cleaning, inspections and replacement or repair of parts.
Device Updating
When updating devices, the existing device is updated with newer technology or software. The updating of a device may include adding new features, improving performance or security updates.
Component Replacement
Component replacement is the process of replacing parts of a device with new parts. This may include removing faulty or outdated components and installing new components to allow the device to function efficiently.
Device Repair
Device repair restores defective or broken devices to operational codition. It includes troubleshooting, replacing or repairing parts, and testing to ensure proper operation of the device.
Data Transfer
Data transfer transfers data from one device, system or storage medium to another. It may include transferring files, software or databases, ensuring data integrity and availability after transfer.
